'Namsangol Night Out_남산골 밤마실’ is a site-specific performance program on theme of ‘1890 Hanyang’ where concerts are held while moving to traditional houses and gardens constructed in the 1890’s in the middle of the night, holding traditional lanterns. Through 'Namsangol Night Out' a time travel to Namsangol in old Seoul during the time of enlightenment in the 1890’s, you can enjoy a walk through the quiet Hanok Village, experience traditions, and taste traditional tea and refreshments along with the concert.
In 2017, a theater of situations was performed which introduced prominent figures of Joseon while moving on the trail through Hanok Village and the traditional garden. In 2018, 'Midsummer Night's Dream in Namsangol’ a site-specific performance that interpreted Shakespeare’s classic through the eyes of young boys and girls of Seoul during the time of enlightenment with the dance and drama that start from the Time Capsule Plaza was produced. Namsangol Night Out in 2019 was titled ‘Finding Park Ji-won (Yeonam)’, which was a Korean classical music tour that combined Korean classical music, a walk, and a play about contemporary young people who trace the passage of Park Ji-won (Yeonam) who enjoyed arts around the Namsangol Hanok Village area.
